ADCO is an Australian, family-owned construction company. ADCO is governed by a board of directors chaired by Judy Brinsmead, with strategic support provided by an advisory board. The national construction business is led by Managing Director Neil Harding, supported by an executive leadership team and our state-based business unit operations.

Judith Brinsmead AM
Judy is Chairman of the Board and integral to the strategic management of ADCO. A solicitor and barrister, she holds a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and was previously a Partner at Morris Fletcher & Cross (now MinterEllison). Judy brings a focused leadership style and over three decades of experience in Construction and Property, having joined ADCO as an Executive Director in 1989. She has a detailed understanding of the business and continues to be instrumental in ADCO’s success and growth. Strong on community, Judy is also a member of the Board of Trustees of Bond University and was on the Joint Marketing Committee for the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
Neil Harding
Neil has led ADCO since 2017, overseeing a period of dynamic change and growth. With more than 25 years of experience in the construction industry, Neil has held executive roles in Australia and internationally. He is a strong, strategic leader with a passion for building supportive, performance-driven cultures and developing meaningful industry-wide relationships. He holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours (Sheffield Hallam University) and is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Neil has a proven track record of driving change, delivering results and caring deeply about developing people and improving the industry for all who are part of it.
Richard Carmont
Richard is an accomplished construction industry professional who has held executive roles with ADCO Group for over 30 years, including 15 years as Managing Director. Today he continues to serve as a Board member and remains as passionate as ever, making an invaluable contribution at both operational and strategic levels. A CPA, Richard’s qualifications include Bachelor of Commerce (University of NSW) and Master of Business Administration (Deakin University). Richard is also on the Board of Randwick District Rugby Union Football Club and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Cameron McBurnie
Cameron has dual senior roles within ADCO, serving as Chief Commercial Officer in addition to being a Board Director. With a Construction and Property Development career spanning more than 25 years, he was previously a senior property lawyer at Deacons (now Norton Rose) and brings a direct and highly detail-oriented approach to ADCO’s risk management and commercial processes. Cameron is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds a Bachelor of Science (University of NSW) and a Bachelor of Laws with Honours (Queensland University of Technology).
Tom Hill
Tom commenced with ADCO in 2011. Holding a Bachelor of Business majoring in Management from Bond University, he is recognised as an integral part of ADCO, providing valuable leadership and guidance. His focus is on providing strong connections between our clients, our people and ADCO’s vision and values. Tom also chairs the Brinsmead Hill Family Foundation which focuses on mental health, education and community support.
Scott Keck
Scott is an Advisory board member, and is Chairman of Charter Keck Cramer, a leading property consulting firm. With 50 years of experience in property valuation and corporate real estate, he is an accomplished negotiator in complex commercial property issues and provides advice on large portfolio strategies and valuations for major statutory and private corporations. He holds extensive professional affiliations including being a Fellow of the Australian Property Institute and an Associate of the Real Estate Institute of Victoria. Scott is also a past member of the Business Advisory Board, Monash University Business School and the University of Melbourne Infrastructure Committee.
Alison Quinn
Alison brings extensive expertise to ADCO as an advisory board member, spanning property development, banking and finance. She was CEO of RetireAustralia and has held executive positions with entities including Aveo, Growth Management Queensland and Mulpha Australia. Alison is a current board member of Uniting Care, BWP Trust, SunCentral Maroochydore and was previously Chair of St Margaret’s Anglican Girls School and an advisory panel member of Economic Development Queensland. Alison is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Management and the Urban Development Institute of Australia. She is also a life member of the Retirement Living Council and a member of Chief Executive Women.

Gareth Adams
Gareth is a highly qualified financial professional with over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, including leadership roles in both Australia and the United Kingdom. As Chief Financial Officer at ADCO, Gareth is responsible for the Group’s IT, accounting, treasury and financial operations. His passion and diligence are underpinned by a Bachelor of Science (Economics) with Honours from the University of Bath and a Post Graduate Diploma in Finance and Strategy from University of Oxford. Gareth is a Chartered Accountant (ACA) with The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Brad McCarthy
Brad is responsible for overseeing all pre-construction functions at ADCO. During a career already spanning more than two decades, he has held senior construction management positions in both Australia and New Zealand. For the past 15 years, Brad’s strong commercial acumen has helped to sustain and grow ADCO’s market presence by managing national client relationships, converting strategic opportunities, targeting key growth sectors and successfully driving geographic expansion. Brad holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Communication from Massey University in Palmerston North (NZ).
Shanelle Woodall
Shanelle brings 20 years of industry experience to her role as Head of Corporate Affairs. With a multi-faceted background in legal and commercial roles in the UK, US and Australia, she values the roles and responsibilities of all who contribute to construction projects – including employees, trade partners, clients and external stakeholders. Shanelle studied law at QUT and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the inaugural ADCO Leaders Program. She is passionate about supporting women, both within ADCO and the wider industry, and is an executive board member ‘Women of ADCO’ and committee member of the National Association of Women in Construction (QLD).
Mike Rinaudo
Mike fills a highly specialised role at ADCO, backed by more than 30 years of Defence industry experience. Following a decade of service with the Royal Australian Air Force in Australia and overseas, Mike’s construction credentials have been sharpened through a range of defence and civil projects, including defence base master-planning and the development of air-side facilities and pavements, airfield rescue and fire services, explosive ordnance storage and other defence-related infrastructure. Mike holds postgraduate qualifications in Management and a Master of Science from the Royal Military College of Science (UK). He is also a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers Australia and a Registered Professional Engineer in Queensland.
Ross Trethewy
Ross is an industry specialist in Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) management. With more than 25 years of experience, he holds a Bachelor of Building with First Class Honours/University Medal (UNSW) and a PHD in OHS Performance Measurement (UNSW). Ross brings highly specialised skills in conversion and the delivery of complex projects, legal and expert opinion, and high-risk work methodologies. He is also a passionate advocate for increased focus on upstream design and planning to reduce downstream risks in project delivery through integrated risk management outcomes. Ross is a member of the Federal Safety Commissioner Industry Reference Group and represents ADCO within the Master Builders Association.
Sean Conroy
Sean has more than 25 years of experience in the construction industry, and has been part of the ADCO team since 1997. With formal training in both Quantity Surveying and Law, he excels at resolving complex practical, legal and financial challenges faced by our team and clients across all stages of the project development process. He holds a string of high-level qualifications including graduating with a Bachelor of Laws (UNSW) with the prestigious University Medal. Sean’s proactive management style and deep expertise continues to ensure ADCO’s safety and quality systems exceed industry best-practice levels.
Doug Zuzic
Doug is responsible for overseeing IT, systems and project support, nationally. With almost 20 years of executive experience in the construction industry and deep technical expertise, his passion is to ensure the technology systems at ADCO are secure, reliable and accessible right across the Group. Doug’s qualifications include Diplomas of Information Technology (Network Engineering) and Business Management, together with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Service Management Certification. He has also completed the Rogen SI Executive Leadership Program and is a Microsoft Certified Professional.

Carlos Gonzalez
Carlos has worked in the construction industry for over 20 years, and is a key member of our senior leadership team in NSW. During his career, Carlos has worked successfully across many industry sectors, building strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, clients and consultants – and driving superior project outcomes as a direct result. A natural communicator, Carlos brings strength in contract negotiation, as well as possessing excellent financial acumen and problem-solving skills. A big believer in collaboration, he brings a hands-on approach to everything he does and works hard to ensure the ADCO team consistently delivers for our clients in NSW.
Elizabeth Creswell
Elizabeth has worked in architecture, development and construction for over 20 years. She joined ADCO in 2015 and is today responsible for leading our design activities in NSW. Collaborative and adaptable, Elizabeth is always looking to build the strength and skill of the design and services team. She brings experience across all project phases and contract structures, as well as expertise in Early Contractor Involvement, value management and high-quality outcomes. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Architecture (Honours) and Bachelor of Environmental Design from University of Western Australia. She is a National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) Member and winner of their ‘Innovation in Design’ Award.
Kristian Anthony
Kristian joined ADCO in 2010, and today heads pre-construction activities for our NSW branch. He is an enthusiastic and astute leader who thrives on developing high-performance teams that meet and exceed the expectations of our clients and stakeholders. During his time with ADCO, Kristian has gained a well-earned reputation for delivering excellent results and maintaining long-lasting relationships with key project stakeholders. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) from the University of New South Wales and is a member of the Property Council of Australia Future Directions Committee.
Niall O’Brien
Niall has over 25 years’ experience working in engineering and construction industries with extensive knowledge of health, safety and environmental management across projects in Australia and overseas.
He has held a number of senior management roles across a range of sectors including building, transport, power, remediation and waste management.
He believes in the importance of engaging and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, trade partners, consultants and team members to ensure the successful delivery of a project and best outcomes for clients.
Niall has a Bachelor of Engineering (Cardiff University) and Master of Engineering Science (University College Dublin).
Matthew Wilkinson
Matthew is an energetic and visionary Construction Manager with over 20 years of industry experience in Australia and overseas. With a broad skillset and an equally diverse portfolio of successfully delivered projects, he brings wide-ranging international experience and a unique blend of design, engineering and management expertise to every ADCO project. This allows Matthew to collaborate seamlessly with large and complex project teams, coordinating the design, development and on-budget delivery of multimillion dollar developments for our clients.
Dean Israel
Dean began his 25-year career in the construction industry with ADCO, where he now manages and delivers his projects with a people-focused approach. By placing a strong emphasis on building excellent relationships with both his clients and project partners, he achieves superior project outcomes that consistently exceed expectations. From concept to completion, Dean understands the importance of working to best practice standards of quality, safety and environmental performance. He holds a Bachelor of Building with Honours from the University of Western Sydney.
Richard Craven
Richard has over 14 years’ experience in the construction industry working in Australia and overseas.
Having worked across muti billion-dollar projects in senior management positions, Richard brings a diversified skillset to ADCO including his energetic leadership style that complements high performing teams.
His passion for innovation and best practice has led to successful delivery of large-scale complex projects for a range of clients, always providing positive outcomes beyond expectations.
Richard holds a Bachelor of Construction Management and Property from University of New South Wales.
James Prattent
James now leads our Queensland team after having previously built our Western Australian operations into one of the leaders of the construction industry over a 5-year period. He has over 20 years’ experience in both contractor and client roles, working extensively across multiple sectors successfully delivering projects in metropolitan and regional areas. James has a strong track record of understanding client needs and market trends, bringing high professional standards and strong leadership to teams he guides. His exceptional communication and people skills continue to be key to ADCO being the builder of Choice. James holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management and Economics having graduated from Curtin University and is a registered builder and graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Susan Mercer
Susan brings over 20 years of business development and marketing experience to ADCO. With in-depth knowledge spanning Australia’s construction, property development, architecture and engineering industries, she works hard to understand every client’s needs, providing early support and strategic advice to shape outstanding project solutions and growth. Susan holds a variety of qualifications in business, marketing and management, and has successfully graduated from the AICD Company Directors course. Having previously served on numerous industry committees and Advisory Boards, she currently sits on the Committee for Brisbane’s Connectivity Sub-Committee and Sports Hubs & Centres of Excellence sub-committee, together with NAWIC’s National Board of Directors.
Steve Lang
Steve has over 20 years’ management experience working across multiple sectors including Defence, Education, Commercial, Health, Community, Sport and Leisure in both the UK and Australia. He has proven experience working on complex projects, bringing strong commercial acumen and a hands on approach from inception to completion ensuring positive outcomes for both our projects and our clients. Steve brings to the team exceptional people skills built from years of experience in the industry and has a reputation for developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, trade partners and suppliers. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Quantity Surveying and is a graduate of the ADCO Leaders Program. He also is passionate about promoting health and well-being within his team, actively engaging in activities and encouraging participation to further build team dynamics and create a balanced lifestyle.
Nick Hamilton
Nick’s career in the industry has enabled him to develop an outstanding insight into the construction landscape in Australia and an understanding of the deep value of strong stakeholder relationships. With diverse experience spanning the defence, commercial, government, education, health and residential sectors, Nick’s hands-on approach and the proven ability to work under strict time and delivery constraints enables him to effectively lead our pre-construction team in Queensland, driving consistently outstanding project outcomes.
Dominic Barrett
Dominic has over 30 years in the construction industry working across large scale projects in regional and metropolitan settings.
Having over 20 years of hands-on experience in Health, Safety and Environment, Dominic has extensive industry knowledge which has enabled him to effectively manage high risk projects for a diverse range of clients.
Dominic’s team driven focus and ability to communicate effectively with clients, trade partners, consultants and our people has enabled productive and safe working environments across all projects he has been involved with. He takes great pride in ensuring the health and well-being of all people, partners and community is maintained through our Safer by Choice commitment.
Dominic understands the changing regulatory requirements and industry standards and contributes his expertise to the wider industry by sitting on the Master Builder Queensland Safety Sub Committee.
Leo Reynolds
Leo is a highly skilled and experienced professional with over 20 years’ experience in the construction and rail industries. Having worked across multiple sectors including aviation, commercial and rail in the United States, United Kingdom and Australia, Leo brings a strong focus on collaboration enabling the successful management of challenging issues, strong communication and positive key relationships.
He has previously worked with multi-national firms, tier 2 and 3 contractors and Government organisations with the last 10 years being focused on major transportation infrastructure projects including the Cross River Rail project in Brisbane.
Leo holds a Bachelor of Construction Management (Hons) and is working towards a Master of Project and Program Management.
Ben Evans
Ben has been in the construction industry since 2004, commencing initially as a cadet while completing studies. He now has over 10 years’ experience as a Project Manager having successfully delivered large scale complex inner-city projects. Ben is an instrumental part of the team in the pre-planning and delivery phase of projects ensuring and often foreseeing any potential issues and mitigating them prior to any potential impact.
His experience in cost planning and procurement right through to detailed design development, construction planning and delivery on a diverse range of iconic large-scale projects has provided great benefit to client expectations and outcomes.
Ben brings exceptional people skills and always strives to encourage best practices within his teams flowing onto the overall project benefit. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Construction Management) from QUT, Advanced Diploma of Building and Construction, Master Builders Construction Leadership Diploma as well as a QBCC Open Builder license.
Michael Duckett
Michael has been part of the ADCO delivery team for over 25 years and has built an enviable reputation for the smooth completion of complicated, award-winning developments. Career standouts for Michael include delivering the multi-million-dollar redevelopment of Robina Town Centre and Australia’s first 6-Star Green Star education building for Bond University. Passionate and unashamedly detail-oriented, nothing satisfies Michael more than seeing the ADCO team deliver another impeccably finished project for our clients.
Nick Lyons
Nick has over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry working across large and complex projects in metropolitan and regional areas. Having initially started as a cadet and progressing to a Project Manager, Nick joined ADCO in 2009 as a Contracts Administrator, before moving into a Project Manager role and now as Construction Manager.
His years of experience working across multiple sectors including retail, education, aged care, industrial, aquatic and leisure, community and health has provided him with a thorough understanding of all aspects within the project management space.
Nick is well known and valued by clients for his skills in project pre-construction planning, value management, and project delivery from concept phase to project completion.
With a strong focus on providing a collaborative approach and his passion for fostering growth for the next generation of ADCO leaders Nick is able to provide the best project outcomes for our clients and key stakeholders.
Mason Brown
Mason has worked in the construction industry for over 20 years. With a proven track record of delivering major defence, transport infrastructure, commercial, education, community and health projects, he is well-known for his collaborative ‘people-first’ leadership style and his natural ability to build relationships. At the heart of Mason’s continued success is his passion towards striving for the best project outcomes, while carefully balancing client and stakeholder expectations.
Andrew Staedler
Andrew is an accomplished property and construction professional with proven experience in construction management, new business development and regional business unit leadership. Bringing 25 years’ worth of knowledge and strategy gathered from the successful delivery of major projects in Victoria, Andrew is skilled in planning, negotiating, and delivering projects with complex interfaces, design requirements and important public and private profile considerations. His expertise is underpinned by a Bachelor of Planning Design (Property and Construction) and a Bachelor of Property and Construction (Honours), with University of Melbourne. Andrew takes pride in developing expert teams capable of delivering outstanding quality projects and maintains a strong focus on leadership, creativity and genuine collaboration matched by equal focus on diligent execution and outcome certainty.
Glen Blamey
Glen brings almost 30 years of industry experience to his role as Business Development Manager in Victoria. A construction expert with an extensive design background, Glen holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Deakin University and is also a fully registered architect. His keen collaboration and communication skills allow him to foster high-quality relationships with both clients and project partners, and his hands-on creativity ensures he responds to even the most complex of tasks with unique and effective solutions. Glen is a champion for the use of innovation and technology within ADCO and the broader construction industry.
Christina Hung
Christina has 20 years of commercial leadership experience spanning both engineering and construction. Having held senior positions within multi-national companies across a range of diversified industries, she has a wealth of expertise in financial management, contracts negotiation and operations. With a strong focus on building lasting client relationships, Christina brings a highly collaborative management style to her role at ADCO. Christina holds a Bachelor of Business from RMIT and is a passionate advocate for encouraging and empowering women in the construction industry.
Daniel McLean
Daniel today leads our Victorian pre-construction team with nearly 15 years experience at ADCO. Holding formal qualifications in Construction Management and Architecture, Daniel has an excellent knowledge of the construction landscape, bringing deep insights into relevant market trends and innovative solutions to every project. A strong and natural relationship builder, Daniel’s role sees him collaborate closely with in-house our estimating, construction and design teams. He also takes great pride in understanding the unique needs of our clients to ensure optimal project outcomes, every time.
Phil Stenteford
Phil has over 20 years of safety leadership experience within the construction industry and is responsible for managing HSE systems for ADCO ‘s Victorian operations. A proactive leader with a career-long passion for continual improvement, he is committed to people care and drives strict safety compliance across all construction activities. Prior to joining ADCO, Phil spent three years working with the Victorian WorkCover Authority and also has also overseen HSE programs across a variety projects.
Matt Shinkfield
Matt is a qualified Civil Engineer with more than 25 years of construction industry experience. During his career he has built an extensive base of skills and knowledge from senior project management and design management roles in both Australia and the UK. A natural leader and a strong eye for build quality, Matt thrives on guiding large project teams to successfully coordinate the design, development and delivery of multimillion-dollar developments. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil).
Nathan Thomas
Nathan is a Construction Manager with 15 years of industry experience, spanning both Australia and the UK. With an excellent understanding of the modern construction landscape, he is passionate about creating positive environments that deliver the best possible outcomes for his project teams, clients and stakeholders. Nathan also brings a deep professional interest in the role of innovation and leadership development. He took part in the inaugural ADCO Leaders Program and is an active member of our innovation group, Novus. Nathan holds a Bachelor of Construction Management with Honours from Deakin University.
Anthony Woolf
Anthony is a seasoned construction professional with more than 15 years of experience spanning the health, leisure, industrial, infrastructure, defence, data and commercial sectors. With hands-on expertise across all levels of construction management, he brings a well-rounded approach to project delivery with a sharp focus on client and subcontract relationship management. Together with strong problem-solving abilities and an agile disposition, Anthony’s projects consistently achieve outcomes that exceed expectations. He is also enthusiastic about mentoring and fostering the next generation of leaders at ADCO. Anthony holds a Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Construction with Honours from Deakin University.
John Moran
John brings a strong background and knowledge of the construction industry, with over 30 years’ experience on major Projects in the education, correctional services, social housing, rail, telecommunications and general commercial sectors. His solid business acumen and collaborative approach that is supported by an MBA, has ensured the successful delivery of many Projects throughout Australia with a particular focus on ensuring satisfactory outcomes for all stakeholders. He is particularly passionate about developing high performing teams and ensuring optimal project outcomes on complex and difficult Projects.
Lyn O’Brien
Lyn has more than 15 years of expertise across pre-construction and management roles. With hands-on experience spanning domestic and international markets, together with broad-reaching industry relationships, she is focused on providing high-quality levels of delivery and building long-lasting client relationships. Lyn’s collaborative leadership style ensures we consistently deliver responsive outcomes that are structured to the unique requirements of every client and project. Lyn is a National Director of NAWIC and was awarded the 2022 LHQ Outstanding Leadership Award for Women in Construction. She holds a Bachelor of Construction Economics and Masters in Quantity Surveying.
Phil Hawthorne
Phil has worked in the construction industry for 38 years with an extensive portfolio of projects both in Australia and international.
During his career he has worked for national and multi-national companies across many sectors including retail, accommodation, rail, education and health, building strong partnerships with trade partners, suppliers, consultants and clients.
Having previously worked on the client side, and with principal contractors, consultancy practices and EPCM firms within both the private and public sector, Phil brings with him a wealth of experience and has a thorough understanding of contract and commercial management from start to finish of a projects lifecycle. Phil has a hands-on approach with a passion for developing teams to successfully deliver a high standard, progressing their skills and careers in the industry and providing greater benefit across projects and to clients.
Phil has a degree level qualification in Construction Management and a Master of Construction Law.
Troy Rutter
Troy has over 10 years’ experience in the project management and construction industry having worked across large scale projects in the United Kingdom and Australia.
He is a very effective communicator and negotiator who places high value in creating, nurturing and growing key relationships both internally and externally.
Troy is highly motivated by innovation and continuous improvement which he thrives to implement across all his projects and teams he works within.
His focus on installing a positive culture that supports high performance in organisational structures and teams is highly valued and provides great benefit to projects and clients.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce and HND in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of South Africa and Teeside University respectively.
Andrew Pachioli
Andrew is a highly experienced HSE Manager with West Australian experience that ranges from remote mining projects to urban developments. He is responsible for the successful implementation of ADCO’s corporate HSE management systems for all construction projects undertaken in WA. As a graduate from Curtin University, Andrew holds various tertiary qualifications in the fields of Health, Safety and Environmental practices, and has a detailed knowledge of best practices in construction. He combines this with a pragmatic and practical approach which ensures ADCO projects in WA are well managed, safe, and provide a healthy environment for our people and those around us.
Ben Mynott
Ben is a skilled construction professional with over 20 years experience across high risk industries within Australia and the UK. He has worked in residential and commercial construction and also in infrastructure delivery for ports, roads and railways. Ben has previously worked as the client within Government, understanding the challenges associated with the delivery of key assets within allocated budget. Ben uses a commissioning lead construction process ensuring that the final deliverables are handed over to the stakeholders without issue and he is a demonstrated leader who takes time to understand issues from all viewpoints using an outcome focused approach to decision making.
Peter Tobin
Peter is a highly skilled construction professional with over 35 years of industry experience. With a proven ability to lead teams to achieve successful outcomes, regardless of the complexity of the contract, Peter brings excellent communication skills to every task, large and small, and is a strong advocate for ensuring a consistent standard for ADCO projects in WA. To fulfil this, he prides himself on developing deep relationships with all project stakeholders, both internal and external. He has also been appointed as Deputy Chair Construction Council for the Master Builders Australia WA Board.
Dan Metcalfe
Dan brings almost 20 years of industry experience across a diverse range of sectors to his role as Construction Manager. With an extensive background in managing pre-contract works, including overseeing construction methodology, contracts and bid evaluations, his strengths lie in programme and financial management, team leadership and stakeholder relations. Together with outstanding knowledge of the local market, Dan’s consistent record of delivery excellence makes him a robust leader in our Western Australian team.
Anthony Flynn
Anthony is a skilled Construction Manager with over 30 years of experience. With extensive industry contacts, superior management skills and proven design management skills, he consistently brings value engineering and cost benefits to his project portfolio, while delivering outcomes are always in line with client feasibilities and expectations. Anthony strives for best-practice HSE performance on every project to ensure the safest possible work environment. He also leads the implementation of ADCO’s Reconciliation Action Plan in Victoria.
Matt Galton DSC
Matt is one of Australia’s foremost experts in Defence infrastructure, with over three decades of military experience spanning tactical to strategic levels.
His final Defence appointment prior to joining ADCO was Director General Capital Facilities and Infrastructure (CFI), where he had direct responsibility for the development and delivery of the estate and infrastructure major capital works program, a portfolio of around 180 projects valuing over $30 billion.
Matt’s experience has seen him serve Australia in the Middle East, Afghanistan, Solomon Islands, East Timor and at home, in diverse capacities. He has received multiple decorations, including the Distinguished Service Cross, and attained the rank of Brigadier during his service.
Mike Rinaudo
Mike fills a highly specialised role at ADCO, backed by more than 30 years of Defence industry experience. Following a decade of service with the Royal Australian Air Force in Australia and overseas, Mike’s construction credentials have been sharpened through a range of defence and civil projects, including defence base master-planning and the development of air-side facilities and pavements, airfield rescue and fire services, explosive ordnance storage and other defence-related infrastructure. Mike holds postgraduate qualifications in Management and a Master of Science from the Royal Military College of Science (UK). He is also a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers Australia and a Registered Professional Engineer in Queensland.
James Terry
James brings over 20 years’ experience in the planning and delivery of a diverse range of projects in the Defence sector to our Defence and Special Projects business unit.
With experience in large scale projects from tender through to the delivery phase, he brings a depth of technical expertise and is well-respected by clients and project partners for his engaging and collaborative approach.
James holds a Degree in Construction from the University of Technology Sydney (with second class honours), and a Diploma of Building Studies from TAFE St George.
Jessie Murray
Jessie brings over 13 years’ experience in the construction industry working across multiple sectors including education, sport and leisure, commercial and health.
Having a strong commercial background Jessie provides the Defence and Special Projects business unit with unique and valued skills including developing and maintaining strong relationships with trade partners, suppliers, clients and consultants.
With extensive experience on large scale and complex projects, including those in regional areas she has a strong reputation with clients and projects partners for providing value add components throughout the life of projects and ensuring a collaborative approach to the project delivery.
Jessie holds an undergraduate degree in Project Management with Honours from RMIT University along with a master’s degree in Construction Law from the University of Melbourne. She also graduated from the 2023 ADCO Emerging Leaders Program demonstrating her commitment to growth and development.
